So I believe you’re commenting on Maddox’s page and not the content I have here … That’s all well and good, but I didn’t repeat Maddox’s content … I referenced it and submitted that he went off on the topic taking it beyond the limits of logic, and that’s what he does … If you have something against Maddox, then berate him all you want via his methods, whatever they are … Checking in on Maddox’s site just now in commenting to you is probably the first time I’ve been to his site in 3 years, since originally reading his post about my topic … My post is not about Child Abuse … My post is about an America that had their children living in fear of physical discipline … I referenced those comedians that I had recently saw comment on it, and I submitted how effective it was for me … Nowhere do I believe that I stated that I condone Child Abuse … After your post brought this topic back into my mind, I told my son that had been given the spanking that I just realized that it’s been 3 years since he’s been spanked and I think it’s about time he had another one … He was not happy about this, and see, the result is still powerful … I think I’ll raise my kids how I deem fit and not how governmental policy may try to dictate … I never suggested that I was going the Maddox Method … That was just another reason that fueled posting my thoughts in my bLog … So, I believe you need to be voicing your opinion to Maddox and not me … Thanks …

You know nothing about me. I voiced my opinion, and I, who was born 2 months before Maddox, should get spanked for that? And as for “the norm,” David, discipline is understandable, but a child being beaten to the point where they’re in the fetal position? Sooner or later, they’re going to get to thinking that murder is the only way out. I heard those stories from some teens, and they got the welts and bruises to prove it. I never said that kids should go wild, but at the same time, they should not have to fear being hit just for being kids. So, hate me all you want, but read what that loser has to say a little more deeply before you further judge me. Don’t get me wrong, I do have a sense of humor, but there are some things that cross the line. Child abuse is one of them.

Hey Clown, way to comment on something from 3 years ago … You’ve obviously missed the point of the post, and you’re leading me to believe that you’re inclined to physical violence in the nature of murder … So, I’d say to you that you probably weren’t disciplined as a child and probably are due for a good spanking yourself … If “rare cases” to you means all children born in the 50s, 60s and 70s, I’d shudder to see what “the norm” would mean to you … The post obviously demostrates how the world has changed, and what people may think is abhorrent discipline practices, it’s done nothing but allow the youth of the world today to run rampant and do as they please … Consequences? Maddox is the idiot. If he was a real man, he wouldn’t beat kids. He’d grow up and only pick on people his own size. Like me. In rare cases does physical punishment work, but in most, it leads to a razor-sharp butcher knife in the slap-happy sleeping fool’s chest.
